While there is an assortment of products on the market purporting to offer high security, not all of them provide the optimal experience for the user. LenelS2 has developed support for Biometrics & Smart Cards in the OnGuard® system to help customers leverage their system to support industry leading biometric and smart card technologies. These solutions offer customers a seamless enrollment and verification experience, to simplify management and optimize security while providing added functionality.

Carrier is pleased to advise that its Ziton ZP2 Support YouTube Channel is live. This channel will host short informative videos giving advice on those simple, but sometimes elusive questions.

Each video is around 1-3 minutes making them quick and easy to review anywhere users have access to YouTube.

Updating Videos Regularly

Carrier will be updating videos on a regular basis, and whilst the initial releases will be in English subsequent versions will be made available in other languages and in separate playlists to aid navigation.

This is the first in a number of support channels Carrier has planned and in the coming days, a separate channel for ModuLaser will also go live. This underlines the continued support for all users of our products, making them easier to use.

Don’t forget for IRIS new functionalities:

• Siren Groups added (up to 96). Up to 3 siren groups may be attached to one zone.
• DEVICE GROUP added. One Remote Indication may be activated by many detectors from the same group.
• SOUNDER MODE – New output activation event added. Devices set to Sounder mode will follow exactly the same logic for the addressable sounders in the same zone, even the timing.
• Zero Address detection with check menu added.
• Disablements for zones, devices and outputs are available now at access level 2.
• Fast output programming for Evacuate, Alarm, Reset, Sounder ON events.
• Support for serial connection of Evac panels (Paso brand)
